Logistics Services

Helvetica Health Care
has extended experience in logistics and shipping of biotechnology products all over the world. We have many years trading experience with all continents and have developed an important network of contacts. We also have the knowledge of freight connection and local deliveries. This allows us to offer shipping and delivery services to any destination with the guarantee of effective control and monitoring services.

We can offer all delivery solutions from our distribution centre in Geneva (Switzerland), within the airport area. We are located in the centre of the world geographically and at the intersection of the most important and active international trade connections.

Our service enables our customers to have their warehouse overseas and related logistics services without having to invest in it.


 
Storage capacity
Our warehouse is provided with storage capacity for perishable goods (2° to 8° C. and -20° C.) and is located within the airport facility. Therefore goods are loaded/unloaded from the aircraft and delivered to our warehouse in a few minutes. This strategic position allows us shorten the transit time and goods stay bin our complete control. Our warehouse is also in the freeport (bonded) area which minimises local formalities required by Swiss customs, and allows goods to remain in transit before being shipped again.
 
Shipping and delivery solutions
We offer ad-hoc shipping solutions in order to deliver your goods safely from door to door or airport to airport. We work with a number of forwarding agents, airfreight and courier companies. We identify specifically the best solution for the delivery of your goods as per the destination. We also provide information regarding the requirements for the importation into the relevant country.

Fulfilment of shipping and temperature requirements
The shipment of biotechnology products require particular care and the respect of specific international regulations. We ensure that the packing respect IATA rules and shipping companies requirements. We provide the necessary dry ice or ice packs in order to maintain the correct temperature until the final destination.
Our customer service monitors the preparation and delivery of shipment at each step and intervene in case of any delay. We undertake the needed action while our customer is promptly informed until goods are delivered to the final destination.

Delivery within the European Union with VAT exemption (DDP)
We deliver countries within the European Union with the exemption of VAT and duties. This service allow your goods with origin outside the EU, to be delivered in 24h from Geneva without any delay and without customers having to pay VAT before taking delivery. (This service can be provided only if your customer has an intrastat VAT number.)

Examples
- Delivery from USA, CANADA to Middle East : we receive the goods, store them, refill with dry ice or ice packs and ship to the final destination. The total transit time is usually 4 working days (without considering the stop) to the final destination at the right temperature.
- Delivery from USA, CANADA or CHINA to a country in the European Union : we receive the goods, store them, refill with dry ice or ice packs and deliver them with our service EU Clearance exempt VAT and duties from Geneva. Total transit time is 3 working days (without considering the stop) to the final destination at the right temperature.
